HomeServe Insurance White Label

While already owning a white label system, it was realised that the delivery turnaround for building a new, and maintaining existing white label websites was uneconomical.

A recommendation was made to HomeServe senior management to rebuild the white label system with a view to greatly reducing the complexity needed to build and maintain future websites.

Leading an internal technical team, and owning the day to day relationship with an external design agency, a new and extensible white label system was built, with simple but powerful content management facilities.

Allowing a determined amount of changes (along with the potential for more ad-hoc customisations), the new system was delivered at the end of March 09 along with it's first white label website. Reducing the turnaround time for new white label websites from by over 800% (8x) has allowed rapid deployment of additional websites in a short time scale, reducing costs significantly and allowing greater ability to react to market changes.
