Baci Lifestyle

Baci Lifestyle, a new start up retail business, approached Tempered Vision with the intent of creating an scalable e-commerce presence on a limited budget (common to most start up businesses).

With experience of a wide array of e-commerce solutions ranging to simple "shopping carts" to fully bespoke back-office and payment gateway integrated systems, a solution was created that could deliver a solution that incorporated both 3rd party and bespoke elements, allowing for both quick delivery and an acceptable level of flexibility (within limits of course, this wasn't a futile exercise in building an enterprise-level solution on a startup budget!).

Using the power of the Magento® ecommerce software platform at its core, combined with a range of bespoke development and design, Tempered Vision provided a fully working (and populated) ecommerce website with automated payment gateway integration and back office product / order management tools in just 7 weeks.

In addition to basic product management tools, the build process also involved:

  • enabling general website content management (CMS) across the entire site
  • integrating Google product search
  • integrating website analytics to monitor and report on website usage trends
  • reviewing all content to ensure site is optimised for search engine visibility (SEO)

The website immediately met with high customer praise, and Baci Lifestyle was even used as a supplier to the popular ITV show "60 minute makeover" during its first year.
